Treyger's stand-up explores the struggles of new parenthood, venting frustrations about others' spouses, and self-deceptions around substance use.

13th century France. To live, to survive, requires weapons. Which do you choose? Weapons of war, which give the power to punish and kill? Or the sword of knowledge, which gives the power to read and heal? Two brothers, separated long ago, must do battle. Alongside, and coming between them, a woman... Thomas, the mercenary, his body marked by scars of varying degrees of valor, left the family farm many years ago. When he returns, his mother, the local healer, is dead. Pavel Vladimirovich Savin (nickname Sova — the Owl) has long wanted to leave his business. To this end he advances Denis for the post of city head. Things are going smoothly, but suddenly Denis is kidnapped by his own employees. As he is taken away in an unknown direction, Denis tries to remember what it is that he has done to draw all these troubles upon himself.

The preparations of a sound installation by artist Ernesto Romeo is suspended when his mother falls ill. This interruption motivates the director to embark on a series of projects that share a mysterious connection to each other.

["The Owl" originally aired on CBS as a 48-minute pilot for a series that was not picked up. It was later expanded to an 84-minute telefilm for international markets by incorporating deleted scenes and lengthy montage sequences. Director Tom Holland had his name removed from the longer version.]

When Jules begins seeing an owl outside his window every night, his friends Aaron and Dawson make every attempt to help him. It quickly becomes apparent however that things are bigger than Jules and his manic visions. Soon the powers of circumstance bring Carrie, a transcendent dreamer into their inner most friend group, and they begin to realize that none of it was by happenstance. It isn't long, and all 4 of them have witnessed the bizarre terror of the owl, and now it's a question of what instead of how. As the relentless domino effect of evil sends torrents of misfortune into their lives, they must all face trials that will test the very fabric of their beings, before it's too late to save themselves. Little do they know, that the deeper the delve into darkness, the more it will take from them.
